Border House is a space at the boundary of architecture, landscape, and silence. The project was created as a response to its context – both physical and emotional. Rather than dominating its surroundings, the house becomes an extension of them, dissolving into the terrain, light, and natural materials.
The architecture is built on the contrast between openness and privacy. The exterior volumes have a restrained, almost monolithic character, while the interior spaces open toward nature through panoramic glazing, inner courtyards, and a soft transition between interior and exterior.
The key idea of the project is the feeling of a «boundary» – between house and landscape, human and nature, protection and freedom. That is why the space is shaped through a sequence of atmospheres: from intimate, tactile zones to open panoramic spaces filled with light and air.
The material palette is intentionally restrained: natural stone, wood, textured concrete, and warm neutral tones form an architecture that is not tied to trends, but instead works with time. The focus is placed not on decoration, but on proportion, light, and the perception of space.
Border House is not simply a private residence. It is an architectural scenario for slow living, where every element is guided by a sense of calm, balance, and connection to the surrounding environment.
